Pandemic Resource Update 4-8-20
Good afternoon clients,
Sharing some updates with you from the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce...
Lunch (up)date on Paycheck Protection Program (& other relief measures)
I am sure the number one question that will be asked is WHEN are we going to hear something about EIDL loan applications? I am going to attend this session. You all are invited to register as well. I will of course report back.
Eric Ness, the top-ranking official for the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) in Wisconsin, will address the ins and outs of the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and other federal relief measures during our next Lunch(UP)date this Thursday, April 9, when you can take a break and enjoy lunch while staying connected, curious and informed.
The PPP is a new $350 billion program designed to incentivize small businesses to keep their workers on payroll by providing loans of up to $10 million for payroll and certain other expenses. Interest in the PPP, Economic Injury Disaster Loans and related relief programs is extraordinarily high, so the Chamber and gener8tor are urging small businesses not to wait to contact their preferred lenders.
Why wait? Register now for this event. If you have questions for the SBA or the Chamber, please submit them in advance to ask@madisonbiz.com.
Additional SBA information about the PPP can be found online. More information about gener8tor's Emergency Response Program can be found online.
